Tail-waggers raise R105 000 for shelter dogs at the 2014 SPCA PURINA Woefie Wandel.

More than 1350 walkers and 1000 dogs put their best paw forward on Sunday 30 March, in the SPCA PURINA Woefie Wandel which took place at the beautiful DAria Wine Estate in Durbanville.

Team SPCA raises over R 440 000 for shelter animals

There was great excitement at the 2014 Cape Argus Pick n Pay Momentum Cycle Tour on Sunday as 140 Team SPCA cyclists took on the 109km route in aid of the Cape of Good Hope SPCA. Through their efforts leading up to and on the day of the event, this team of dedicated volunteers, the SPCAs largest charity cycle team to date, raised more than R440 000 for the CoGH SPCAs fight against cruelty to animals.


Top SA Chef to cycle for the love of animals

On 9 March 2014, 140 cyclists from all over Cape Town will take on the Cape Argus Pick n Pay Momentum Cycle Tour as part of Team SPCA. Whether novices or a fitness fanatics, young or old, every member of this team will be cycling for the love of animals, and in aid of the Cape of Good Hope SPCA.


Today is World Spay Day

Today, 25 February, is World Spay Day, and to celebrate this day, the Cape Animal Welfare Forum and its members embark on the 2nd Mass Sterilization Campaign in Cape Town.
